2. Try 30 new recipes 30/30 complete 9/2/2011

Couscous salad with black beans, mushrooms and corn (from Everyday Food Magazine Issue July/August 2010)

This recipe was okay but just great. We decided that it needs more herbs and/or dressing.

If you don't count any of the tasks that are currently in progress, I have 30 tasks to complete!!

24. Visit Gina & 73. Have a slumber party with just the girls. #24 & #73 go together because I went to see Gina earlier in August and we had a slumber party at her house!! Sorry no pictures ;)

29. Plan a random trip to see my parents. I went up to see my parents in the same trip I saw Gina.

41. Get a new roof.

80. Personal. Our first little one is due February 9, 2012!!

39. Fireplace (not quite complete yet). During our roof project we had them put in a gas line so we will have gas into the fireplace.

68. Buy a really fabulous pair of jeans. Yes I bought a great pair of Gap Maternity jeans and I LOVE THEM!!!

July 31 Update

30. Visit Grandma Hanson Completed 7/22/2011

65. Do something special for our Anniversary We went to San Luis Obispo for our fourth anniversary!

41. Get a new roof. The roof should be complete in the next two weeks!!

51. Make a quilt for our guest room. I purchased a pattern and the fabric for this quilt.

29. Plan a random trip to see my parents. I am going home visit my parents in August.

15. Participate in a Half Marathon. Completed my first half marathon on Sunday June 5!!!

#31, 77, 87

31. Visit Grandma Barry Completed 5/29/2011. We went up to Grandma Barry's over Memorial Day weekend. We got to see Joe, Sierra, Paula, Brian, Drew, Noah, Craig, Nancy, Kevin, Karla and of course Grandma!

77. Go horseback riding. On Memorial Day my in-laws surprised me with an hour of horseback riding. I had tons of fun!!

87. Take pictures in a photobooth. Gina came down to visit for a few days and while we were in Balboa Park I saw a photobooth!

52 out of 101 completed!!!

I have completed 52 out of 101 things!!! That means I am over halfway there. I am really exciting and have a few more that I am completing in the next few weeks. Stay tuned!

My cooking class inspired me. Last night I made chicken breasts with orange marsala sauce with glazed baby carrots with pistachio and Parmesan mashed potatoes.
