#2 Try 30 new recipes. This past week I made homemade veggie burgers with oven roasted potatoes. I got the recipe from the little instruction book that came with my food processor!
7. Make latkes from scratch. This week I also made potato latkas! Both meals were very yummy.
4. Give up fast food for a month. I gave up fast food from June 7 until July 7. Three of these weeks were extremely easy because my parents were visiting and we were working on the house!

June update, #94
I read The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown. I didn't enjoy the end as much as other Dan Brown books I have read.
Projects I have started:
With the help of my wonderful husband I have almost completed #56. Make cork board. I just have the a black border to put around it!

43. Clean out office closet
I have wanted to clean out my office closet for awhile now. Today my husband has spent his whole Sunday working so I figured I might as well do something productive. I decided to tackle the office closet. Here are two before pictures and one after picture.
Before:

After:
Part of me wants something other than boxes and a blue crate on the top shelf and more of the white scrapbook units but I was trying to not spend $$.

May Update!!! #2, 42, 75
I've really been trying to work on #2. Try 30 new recipes so far I have completed 6 out of the 30.
Here's what I've made:
I made chocolate lava cakes. The recipe is from Ghirardelli Chocolate; http://www.ghirardelli.com/bake/recipe.aspx?id=1085

The chicken piccata recipe is from the Pioneer Woman: http://thepioneerwoman.com/cooking/2010/03/monday-night-dinner-my-chicken-piccata/
I would make the chicken piccata again but change the sauce a little. It was not thick enough.
Forgot to take a picture when I finished this dish. It did have alfredo sauce on it. Great easy meal and reheats well.
Yummy but we are going to try black beans instead of lentils next time.
Blueberry muffins (March update) and banana bread (no picture)
75. Go to a Padres game with friends. We went to a Padres game with Colette and Shawn. We had the best seats in the Omni Premier Club Section!!!
